Understanding Our Water Types

Arctic Chiller produces premium bottled water using two distinct purification methods, each designed to deliver exceptional quality and taste. Our reverse osmosis purified water undergoes a comprehensive five-stage filtration process at our Sherwood Park facility. Water softening removes hardness minerals, followed by activated carbon filtration that eliminates chlorine and organic compounds. Micro-filtration captures particulates before the reverse osmosis membrane reduces dissolved solids to near-zero levels. Final ozonation provides residual disinfection without chemical additives, creating impurity-free water with consistently low mineral content and a clean, neutral taste.

Our spring water is sourced from Edmonton’s protected municipal supply at the EL Smith Reservoir, meeting or exceeding all provincial and national requirements including Health Canada’s Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality. This protected source water delivers natural mineral content and a refreshing taste profile while maintaining rigorous safety standards verified through third-party testing. Spring water processing includes carbon filtration and ozonation to ensure consistent quality without removing beneficial minerals. For customers seeking variety, we also offer lightly infused spring water options with subtle flavour enhancement and no added sugars or artificial ingredients.
